I spent a great day with everyone at Spyder surfboards in HB – they’re the Small Business of the Month for December! 

Chief Irvine, Capitan Abell, and I had a small, but lively discussion about holiday safety tips in Manhattan Beach. Thanks to Manhattan Bread and Bagel for hosting!

A great afternoon touring the MBS Media Campus, which was designed around the concept of one-place production, bringing all of the services and resources filmmakers need to one location.  And it’s located in Manhattan Beach!  

Held a great community coffee with Chief Medrano in Gardena to discuss holiday safety tips!  

Wonderful night celebrating the holidays with friends from the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Spoke with members of South Bay Cares tonight about what South Bay residents can to do to have a real impact on state policy through grass roots advocacy. So impressed with co-founders Kamala Horwitz and Courtney Lingle along with everyone who came out tonight to support a better California for everyone. 

I was honored to name Sgt. Erd as the Veteran of the Year for Assembly District 66.  Sgt. Erd served our country with great distinction.

It was great hearing from so many involved Manhattan Beach parents at the MBUSD Meet Your Lawmakers event. Thank you for inviting me!  

I spent a great morning visiting The Knowing Garden school to talk about the three branches of government and how the state and federal governments work together.
