Palos Verdes Peninsula Wildfire Town Hall and Expo

Join Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi and the Cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills Estates and Rolling Hills for a Wildfire Preparedness Town Hall and Expo.

Learn about the lessons learned from the January wildfires and how to prepare for potential wildfire risks. It is now more important than ever to stay prepared.

  • Palos Verdes Unified School District

The expo will include informational booths from the Palos Verdes Peninsula cities.

El Camino College Dual Enrollment Workshop

Get a head start on college while you are still in high school! In conjunction with El Camino College, Assemblymember Muratsuchi will host a workshop for K-12 students and their families who are interested in learning more about the Dual Enrollment.

Saturday, May 10

El Camino College

Workshop attendees will:

  • Discover the benefits of Dual Enrollment
  • Learn about opportunities for Dual Enrollment at El Camino College
  • Receive guidance to complete the steps (apply for admission and more).
  • Hear from experts and college staff
  • Have the opportunity to ask questions

Students who are interested in completing a dual enrollment application after the workshop are encouraged to pre-register their interest below.

Applications will be available at the event. Social Security Numbers are suggested when applying, but not required. Please provide a personal email address for the application the day of the event.
