Ribbon cutting ceremony at American Honda headquarters in Torrance to unveil their zero emission stationary hydrogen fuel cell power station. With Honda President and CEO Noriya Kaihara, Japan Consul General Kenko Sone, and Torrance Mayor George Chen.
Honda's stationary fuel cell power station emits zero air pollutants and operates using green hydrogen fuel. This new project is part of the company's global goal to achieve carbon neutrality for all products and corporate activities by 2050.

Thank you Coalition for Adequate School Housing (C.A.S.H.) for allowing me to speak on AB 247, which will place a K-12 to community college school facilities bond on the 2024 ballot. As Chair of the Assembly Education Committee, I look forward to working with Assemblywoman Lori D. Wilson and Assemblymember Mike Fong in prioritizing school facilities this year.
California Teachers Association legislative reception in Los Angeles
This week I had the pleasure of meeting a real-life hero at the Capitol. Brandon Tsay, the young man who fought off the Monterey Park shooter in Alhambra as he attempted a second shooting, saved countless lives as the Asian community was celebrating the Lunar New Year last month.
His bravery will always be remembered. We thank you, Brandon.
