TORRANCE, CA – “The South Coast AQMD has heard the concerns of South Bay residents and is proposing a ban on highly toxic hydrofluoric acid in our community.  Ending the use of this deadly chemical in the refining process is one of my top priorities as your Assemblymember and I stand with the families and refinery workers who have been at the forefront of this fight to make the region safe
