Tribute to George Floyd

I participated in an event at the Capitol yesterday to remember the life of George Floyd, who was killed while in police custody in Minneapolis just over two weeks ago. Both Assemblymembers and Senators knelt and stayed silent for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, the length of time the Minneapolis police officer knelt on George Floyd's neck before he died.
