Protecting Education Funding in this Year's Budget

As Chair of the Education Committee, I spoke on the Assembly Floor today to protect education funding in this year's budget. We are protecting classroom funding despite an overall budget deficit. I also defended Proposition 98, which provides funding stability and will ensure more education funding when revenues come back up.
