Torrance Police Department Chief Jay Hart and I had a great lunch and discussion on public safety and homelessness in Torrance.

I wrote a bill this year to fight retail theft, to hold repeat offenders accountable while providing more drug addiction and mental health treatment when needed. The bill died in committee but I will keep fighting.
