Coalition for Adequate School Housing (C.A.S.H.)

I spoke this morning to the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (C.A.S.H.), a public/private non-profit organization that advocates for K-12 school facilities funding, about my school bond bill, AB 247.

AB 247, which will be taken up in next year's session, will place the Kindergarten through Community College Public Education Facilities Bond Act on the 2024 statewide election ballot.

If approved by voters, it will provide over $10 billion in state matching funds for K-12 and California Community College Districts throughout the state.  The funds will go for new school construction as well as modernization.
