Together with County of Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, I attended an operation this morning with the LA County Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) to remove household hazardous waste and personal items at the landslide area in Palos Verdes in preparation for Hurricane Hilary.

Several weeks ago, due to a landslide, several houses were red-tagged. These residents were notified and submitted their item retrieval wish list.

I continue to work with representatives from Los Angeles County to help residents with this tragedy.
