On Friday, after our successful Senior Scam Stopper, my office celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by participating in a senior self-defense class.

Thank you to Seniors Fight Back, a local non-profit tackling anti-Asian hate, for partnering on such a great event.

My Assembly Bill 577 led to the creation of CA vs. Hate, a statewide hate crime hotline and website that provides support to victims of hate crimes and makes our communities safer: www.cavshate.org
