Hatano Farm Tour With the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy

I recently toured Hatano Farm with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes. Hatano Farm is the last remaining vestige of a once vibrant Japanese American agricultural community on the Peninsula. I am committed to working with the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and the Land Conservancy to honor this unique history.

As a bonus—an endangered cactus wren paid us a visit on the tour! A reminder of the biodiversity we stand to protect if we continue to preserve open spaces in the South Bay.
