Spoke in support of crime victims at National Crime Victim's Rights Peace Rally at Machado Lake in Harbor City. Organized by Harbor City resident Lawanda Hawkins of Justice for Murdered Children. The crowd of mostly Blacks and Latinos was a stark reminder that while we debate criminal justice reform, most victims of criminal violence are people of color.
