Redondo Beach Police Department’s “The Line Up” Surf Contest

The Redondo Beach Police Department hosted its first ever surf contest on Cinco de Mayo. Surfers of all skill levels, including veterans that had never surfed before, competed in the event. The surf contest benefitted three charities including the Redondo Beach Police Foundation, Special Olympics, and Wounded Heroes of America. Chief Keith Kauffman, Dinah Lary of the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the South Bay Boardriders played integral roles in organizing this great event. I look forward to competing in it in the future!
