(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi (D-Torrance) joined the bipartisan majority of legislators in approving Assembly Bill 617 and its companion legislation Assembly Bill 398. “I am proud to be joint author of AB 617, the air quality improvement bill and AB 398, the cap and trade extension,” Assemblymember Muratsuchi said. “This bill will address air pollution issues, not only in disadvantaged communities, not only in my colleagues district in Bell Gardens but in neighborhoods throughout the state of California.
