Surfing as California’s Official State Sport Press Conference

Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi, along with joint author and Assembly Leader Ian Calderon, held a great press conference on Saturday, February 10th In Hermosa Beach on AB 1782, which would establish surfing as California’s official state sport. California is an iconic California sport that brings in significant economic activity to the state each year. Afterwards, the Assemblymembers, speakers and attendees all went surfing.
