2018 South Bay Medal of Valor Ceremony

My office attended the South Bay Medal of Valor Ceremony, which honors and recognizes law enforcement and first responder personnel for outstanding acts of bravery and life-saving actions. Stories of heroism from saving a woman from committing suicide to pulling a man from a burning car were told and celebrated throughout the luncheon.

We also presented an Assembly Resolution to retired Manhattan Beach Fire Chief Robert Espinosa. Espinosa spent nearly four decades in firefighting, including 6 years as the Manhattan Beach Fire Chief and 2 years as the Chief in Rialto. He was also an active member of the Manhattan Beach Rotary Club and Leadership Manhattan Beach.
